Common Questions Asked by Prospective Students

WHAT WILL THE PROGRAM ACCOMPLISH FOR ME?

  • When interviewing with an airline, as harsh as it may seem, you have one chance to convince the interviewer that you are a qualified individual he/she is seeking. You want to be completely prepared for this first step. One full day of ACADEMICS OF Flight’s program is devoted to constructing resumes and interviewing techniques. The interviewers have successfully been through the interview process, and know what positive and negative traits the airliner is seeking. Questions as; “How do I conduct myself”, “How do I dress”, “What personal habits are they looking for (Am I talking too much, too little)”,”What do I wear” will be completely reviewed. Also, and as important as the interview process, you will have a personal resume constructed appropriate to the flight attendant position.

  • WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE PERSONAL ATTENTION, OR WILL I BE JUST ONE OF 50 OR MORE PEOPLE ATTENDING?
You will absolutely have personal attention. ACADEMICS OF FLIGHT realize that this is the first step in achieving your goal. The school has dedicated itself to training individuals on a worldwide basis for over 30 years, successfully preparing them for careers. In many cases, ACADEMICS OF FLIGHT is now teaching the sons and daughters of individuals that came to the school in past years.

  • WILL IT ONLY BE GIVEN AT YOUR NEW YORK LOCATION?
Yes, the course will be given at New York location only.

  • HOW OLD MUST I BE TO ATTEND?
You must be at least 20 years of age.

  • DOES THE COURSE OFFER FINANCIAL AID?
Unfortunately, financial aid is not offered.

  • IS THE PROGRAM IMMIGRATIONS APPROVED?
Although many programs offered by Academics of Flight are immigrations approved, the flight attendant course is not. Since the FAA does not currently have an FAA license, immigrations will not approve non-license programs.

  • WILL I BE GUARANTEED EMPLOYMENT?
The final decision as to whether or not you become employed is determined by your performance during the airline interview.
